Harrisburg, PA - Treasurer Stacy Garrity today encouraged families to celebrate ‘529 Day’ by starting to save with the PA 529 College and Career Savings Program Guaranteed Savings Plan (GSP) before the end of May for a chance to win a top award of $5,290 – or one of ten regional awards of $2,529 in account contributions.

State agencies are reminded to submit required contracts, purchase orders and amendments to Treasury’s online database


Harrisburg, PA -  Treasurer Stacy Garrity today announced that Treasury’s Contracts e-Library has surpassed 500,000 entries. Items available on the Contracts e-Library include state government contracts, purchase orders and amendments. All entries are available to review anytime, allowing Pennsylvanians the opportunity to see how their tax dollars are being spent.

Harrisburg, PA -  The Northeast PA Manufacturer’s and Employers Council (NEPA MAEC) hosted their annual YES (Your Employability Skills) Recognition Breakfast on May 10, 2023, at St. Nicholas Hall. The event saw a turnout of over 270 attendees including students, teachers, business professionals, and legislators. Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity delivered the keynote address titled ‘Made in Pennsylvania.’

Harrisburg, PA -  Treasurer Stacy Garrity today announced the kick-off for this year’s 529 Day celebration to highlight the PA 529 College and Career Savings Program. Starting today, and continuing through May 31, 2023, those who open a new PA 529 Guaranteed Savings Plan (GSP) account and contribute at least $10 for a new beneficiary who is a Pennsylvania resident will be eligible to win a top award of $5,290 – enough to cover a year’s tuition at a Pennsylvania community college.
