Treasurer Stacy Garrity and Rep. Tina Pickett Return More Than $40,000 to Residents of Wyoming County
Tunkhannock, PA - Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity and Rep. Tina Pickett (R-110) today announced that more than $40,000 in unclaimed property is being returned to residents and organizations in Wyoming County following Rep. Pickett’s Senior Expo held on Sept. 26 at the Triton Hose Company.
“It’s always great to work with my friend and my state Representative, Rep. Pickett, to serve our constituents and return such a large amount of unclaimed property to its rightful owners. As a resident of Bradford County, it’s great to get this money back into the hands of my neighbors in Wyoming County.”

“Thank you to the Treasurer for her diligent efforts to return funds to Wyoming County residents and organizations. This is a great opportunity to reunite people with what rightfully belongs to them.”
Rep. Tina Pickett
Unclaimed property can include dormant bank accounts, uncashed checks, forgotten safe deposit boxes, and much more. State law requires businesses to report unclaimed property to Treasury after three years of dormancy.
“I encourage everyone to check our website to see if we have any money or property that belongs to them,” Treasurer Garrity said. “In fact, more than one in ten Pennsylvanians has money or property available, and it only takes a minute to search.”
