Treasurer Stacy Garrity Celebrates 529 Day with More Than $33,000 in Awards for Pennsylvania Families

Harrisburg, PA - Treasurer Stacy Garrity today encouraged Pennsylvania families to take advantage of the Pennsylvania Treasury Department’s PA 529 Day promotion. Families who save with the PA 529 College and Career Savings Program may be eligible to win one of six regional awards based on where they live in Pennsylvania. Each award winner will receive a $5,529 deposit into their PA 529 account. The 529 Day promotion ends May 31, 2025.

Treasurer Stacy Garrity Announces Results of Spring Unclaimed Property Auction

More than $468,000 in proceeds will be held in perpetuity for rightful owners to claim

Harrisburg, PA - Treasurer Stacy Garrity announced today that Treasury’s spring unclaimed property auction brought in more than $468,000. All proceeds are carefully logged by Treasury and will remain available for the rightful owners to claim no matter how much time passes.

Harrisburg, PA - Treasurer Stacy Garrity and CFA Institute today announced that the Pennsylvania Treasury Department has claimed compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) from the CFA Institute. Introduced in 1999, the GIPS standards are universal, voluntary standards based on the fundamental principles of full disclosure and fair representation of investment performance.
