Treasurer Stacy Garrity Visits Aquatech, Marking the Fifth Anniversary of #MadeInPAMondays
#MadeInPAMondays highlights the impact of Pennsylvania manufacturers and makers
Canonsburg, PA - Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity announced today that Treasury’s #MadeInPAMondays social media campaign celebrated its fifth anniversary with a visit to Aquatech's headquarters in Canonsburg, Washington County. Each Monday, #MadeInPAMondays spotlights a different Pennsylvania-based manufacturer or maker, sharing their contributions to the Commonwealth.

To celebrate the five-year milestone, the campaign featured Aquatech, a global leader in water, wastewater and critical minerals solutions. Aquatech specializes in water reuse, desalination, industrial water treatment and lithium and metals recovery—treating more than 1.6 billion gallons of water annually and with over 100,000 tons of lithium production under execution.

Manufacturing remains a critical driver of Pennsylvania’s economy, employing 561,500 workers across 12,127 facilities. The industry alone generates $111 billion in total output and accounts for 11 percent of the gross state product, according to the Pennsylvania Manufacturer’s Association.
Since its launch in May 2021, #MadeInPAMondays has showcased 245 manufacturers and makers from a diverse range of industries, including agriculture, chemical, machinery and electronics. The campaign has featured businesses in every county at least twice, and Treasury is continuing its momentum this year, with 20 different counties already featured.
